Brown Sauce
- makes 2.2 cups and keeps for a week in the refrigerator or freeze is desired.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 1/2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cooking wine
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp dark mushroom soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp green onion root (cut)
1-2 tsp garlic minced
1-2 tsp ginger minced
1 1/2 cups heated chicken or vegetable stock
Let the sauce cool down. Strain solids out using a sieve.
